Oswestry Pride – 12th June 2027

Oswestry is gearing up for its fourth annual Pride Festival! Following the incredible success of the last three years, which saw hundreds of people come together in the heart of the town, this year’s celebration promises to be even bigger, brighter, and more exciting.

Organised by a dedicated grassroots committee of volunteers, Oswestry Pride is an entirely self-funded community event that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusivity, and fosters a true sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, friends, and allies.

The day’s festivities will centre around Cae Glas Park, featuring a vibrant marketplace filled with stalls from local LGBTQ+ creators, businesses, charities, and community groups. Visitors can also enjoy a fantastic lineup of live entertainment throughout the day, showcasing local dancers, poets, and performers.

The Pride Parade The main highlight of the day is the spectacular Pride Parade. Gathering at Cae Glas Park, the march will weave its way through the streets of Oswestry to showcase the town’s wonderful community spirit. The parade departs the park at 12:00 pm midday and will return there for the rest of the afternoon’s celebrations.

Everyone is heartily invited to come along, show their support, enjoy the live entertainment, and join the parade march. Whether you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or want to join in as an ally, come along and celebrate our wonderfully diverse and welcoming town.
