Creaser’s Custom Bike Show Drives Over 1,000 Visitors to Oswestry
More than 1,000 motorcycle enthusiasts and visitors from across the UK gathered at The Carriages on Sunday, 26th July, as the second annual Creaser’s Custom Bike Show brought a major boost to the local economy.
Launched in 2025 by custom bike builder Steven Creaser (owner of Creaser’s Motorcycles and Customs) alongside Brontë Madison and Ashley Kitchen of venue host The Carriages Oswestry, the event was established to plug a gap left by disappearing regional meets. It serves a dual purpose: bringing the biking community together while providing local and regional independent businesses with a high-profile platform to showcase their work.
Despite changeable summer weather, attendees travelled from as far afield as Liverpool, Stoke-on-Trent, and Wolverhampton, providing local hospitality and tourism a welcome boost.
Highlighting Regional Talent and Business Partnerships
The show highlights the strength of the area’s independent sector and its ability to pull national crowds. Visitors had the chance to view an impressive lineup of custom, modified, and standard bikes, alongside exhibits from a broad spectrum of trade partners and community organisations.
Exhibitors on the day included:
Regional and Industry Specialists: Creaser’s Motorcycles and Customs, Harley-Davidson Manchester, Dynojet, Bretton Motorcycles, True North, and Hayabusa Bikes.
Creative & Independent Artisans: Lee Morgan Artwork and ArtByMe Designs.
Community & Charitable Partners: Mental Health Motorbike, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, and the Harley Owners Group.
Local catering and hospitality were supplied throughout the day by The Carriages Oswestry and Cambrian Antiques, complemented by entertainment from Shropshire three-piece rock band Watermelon Chronicles and axe throwing hosted by Tristan.
A Growing Anchor Event for the Local Calendar
Following its successful debut in 2025, turnout expanded for the 2026 show, firming up plans to establish the gathering as a permanent fixture on the town’s annual event roster.
Reflecting on the day, organiser Steven Creaser noted:
“It was brilliant to see so many bikers come together again and support the show. There were some incredible bikes on display, and the quality of the custom work was outstanding. Events like this are important for keeping the biking community connected and giving businesses the chance to show what they can do.“
Brontë Madison of The Carriages added:
“We would like to thank everyone who attended, exhibited, or helped make the day possible. Despite the unpredictable weather, the support was incredible, and it was brilliant to see so many people come together to celebrate the biking community. We’re already looking forward to seeing what 2027 could bring.“
With positive momentum building behind collaborative events like Creaser’s Custom Bike Show, Oswestry continues to prove its capability as a vibrant host hub for regional tourism, business networking, and community-led trade.
