This afternoon, The New Saints Futsal Manager, Andrew Ruscoe, visited businesses across Oswestry town centre, Chirk and Cefn Mawr, personally inviting them to the club’s Local Business and NHS Community Appreciation Evening.

 

The event will take place when The New Saints welcome Flint Town United to Park Hall on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.

 

As part of the evening, local business owners, employees and NHS staff are being offered complimentary match tickets, along with a free buffet in the club’s Henstone Suite, kindly prepared by The Fat Boar in Wrexham.

 

Speaking about the initiative, Ruscoe said:

 

“We simply want to show local businesses and NHS staff that they are hugely respected and appreciated by everyone at The New Saints.“

 

“This initiative was developed by our operations team, including Ian Williams, Jacob Williams, Simon O’Reilly, Chairman Mike Harris and myself, with one clear purpose: to give something back to the people who work so hard to support our local communities.“

 

“The New Saints and our Chairman, Mike Harris, are passionate about giving back and strengthening the club’s relationship with the communities surrounding Park Hall. We hope this evening will allow people to enjoy our hospitality, experience a matchday at the club and see how much their contribution to the area is valued.”

 

The club appreciates that Andrew may not yet have been able to visit every local business personally. However, any local businesses or NHS staff interested in experiencing hospitality at Park Hall for the match against Flint Town United are warmly invited to get in touch.
