The New Saints Welcome Family for a Special Stadium Tour

The New Saints were delighted to welcome the Edwards family to Park Hall this afternoon for a special birthday stadium tour.
 
The visit was organised by Lee Edwards’ partner, Katie, as a surprise to celebrate his birthday. Lee, Katie and their two sons, Freddie and Max, were shown around the stadium by the club’s Andrew Ruscoe.
 
During the tour, the family met TNS legend Greg Draper and learned about the rich history of the club, from its beginnings as Llansantffraid FC in 1959, through the merger with Oswestry Town in 2003, to the club’s permanent move to Park Hall in Oswestry in 2007.
 
They also discovered more about life behind the scenes at a professional football club, including the nutrition, preparation and routines players follow to ensure they are ready to perform at their best.
 
We hope Lee, Katie, Freddie and Max had lots of fun and learned plenty about The New Saints during their visit.
 
Happy birthday, Lee! We look forward to welcoming the whole family back to Park Hall for Saturday’s match.
